PUTRAJAYA: Fifteen Malaysian NGOs Friday handed over to a United Nations office here a memorandum condemning India’s revocation of the special status of Indian-administered Kashmir.The group was represented by Malaysia Muslim People’s Coalition president Amir Amsaa Alla Pitchay in handing over the memorandum to United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) assistant resident representative Patrick Pee.

The Indian government recently scrapped Article 370 of India’s constitution that guarantees special rights to Jammu and Kashmir and split the region into two federal territories.
