KUNAK: Police arrested three palauh men (sea gypsies) and seized syabu as well as five suspected fish bombs during an integrated “Ops Sarang”, here, on Friday.

Kunak Police Chief Supt Baharin Md Tahir said the paperless trio, aged between 21 and 25, were nabbed at a house in a water village in Kg Jeti Pangkalan, about 2.45am.

Inspection on the premises led to the discovery of 5.42gm of syabu, worth about RM813.

He said one of them also tested positive for syabu.

Further examination led to the team finding five bottles containing a white substance, believed to be fish bombs, in the premises. – Ibrahim Tabir
