Cops confirm viralled robbery case in Papar

PAPAR: Police have confirmed the case of a 21-year-old local who was robbed at Taman Pengalat Besar, here, on Aug 10 that went viral on social media.
The post also included a copy of a police report lodged by the victim, known as Zul Fadlie Japry, which said the incident happened to him while was walking alone in the neighbourhood about 10pm.

In the report, Zul said he was pushed from behind by the suspect who was wearing a helmet and striped t-shirt, and wielding a knife, before being threatened to give up his items.
Reluctant to do so, the victim tried to defend himself by kicking the man but was slashed three times by the suspect who fled the scene without Zul’s items.
The police report was made shortly after the incident.
