Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Public Accounts Committee held its second two-day meeting here which ended Thursday, calling seven state government entities to give testimonies on incomplete issues as mentioned in the Auditor-General Report 2016 and 2017.

The entities include the Rural Development Ministry, Sabah Land Development Board, Sabah Ports Authority, Sabah Wildlife Department, Sabah Economic Development Corporation, Sabah Veterinary Services Department and Sabah Agriculture Department, which were stated to have issues in the AG Report 2016 and 2017.

Paginatan Assemblyman, Datuk Abidin Madingkir, who is Sabah PAC Chairman, said they were satisfied with the testimonies given by officials of the said government entities involved.

However, he said, they have to leave the issues concerning the said Ministry and SLDB on the implementation of Mini Estet Sejahtera (MESEJ) Palm Oil and that of the Veterinary Services Department, on the slaughter house project, because both are currently still under investigations by the State Government Internal Investigation Committee.
