SANDAKAN: Deputy Home Minister Datuk Mohd Azis Jamman (pic), has advised the community not to conspire or protecting bad elements especially those that threatens security of the nation, but to report them immediately to the local authority and security agencies.

“Report to the authority concerned and security agencies if you have information on bad elements. Don’t conspire with them or hide their activity,” he said when officiating the People Games Carnival organised by the Wira Warisan Sabah at the municipal field here Sunday, in conjunction with the Malaysia Day celebration.

On Malaysia Day, he said, it should not only be cherished but should always be remembered by all citizens of the country.

He was also proud with the unity among people in Sabah despite being confronted by various situations. In other development, Azis who is also Wira Warisan Sabah Chief said the Warisan Government will also continue to discuss with the Federal Government, especially on the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) for the goodness of the people and also on the State development matters. He also hope the community will continue to pay attention on drug abuse problem among youth which is worrying, saying all parties need to play a role in curbing this activity and educating the young people to the right direction in life.

Assistant Youth and Sport Minister and Gum Gum Assemblyman, Arunarnsin Taib, Elopura Assemblyman, Calvin Chong, Municipal Council Deputy President, Mohd Hamsan Awang Supain, Deputy Wira Negeri Sabah Chief, Ismail Ayub and Beluran Wira Chief, Aslan Ag.Damit, among others were also present.
