KOTA KINABALU: When it comes to residential development and building liveable spaces, one of the most passionate developers around is Sinaland Sdn Bhd’s David Lam.
In precinct 2 of the company’s 100-acre masterplan blueprint, lies Elemen Utara KK, an upcoming gem that elevates a standard of liveability that is found only in the most advanced economies of the world.

“Every day, I think of how best to create high quality living spaces and well-planned mixed development townships where residents can thoroughly enjoy their lives,” David said, adding that it included detailed development planning, advanced design thinking, excellent material sourcing, impeccable fittings, strict quality control.
Essentially, ways to jam-pack additional modern facilities, amenities and value-adding developments. “That is what gets me through most of my busy days at work,” David said.

“At the end of the day, what I really aspire to do is provide the best living spaces and lifestyle that I can for our buyers.
“We took every little detail into consideration when developing Elemen Utara KK. So far, a lot of our buyers and prospective homeowners who visited our actual site show units have given a lot of kind words and praises.

“I am overjoyed to be able to create something they feel is an ideal home and living space to them, in terms of quality, affordability, convenience, lifestyle and future growth potential.”
A buyer of Elemen Utara KK, Herman Ting, said it was one of the most impressive actual site show units he had visited.
“Everything – from the cabinets to the toilet to the flooring, doors and windows – were of extremely high quality. You can actually slam the room door and it would be muffled because door dampers were installed on the door frames.
“You could place a table all the way next to a wall as they even flushed the floor side skirtings. Everything is upgraded over the other projects I see at similar price points, which is very impressive.”
Wu, another Elemen buyer, said the surroundings were too good that he had to own a unit.
“The views are breath-taking and since they really provided a high ceiling, the corridors and units seemed very windy and had good ventilation. Apart from that, I saw so many nearby amenities.
“Menggatal plaza was a stone’s throw away and there was a highway leading to the entrance instead of the normal small single lane roads which definitely is important to me. I hate traffic jams as they waste a lot of my time.”
A viewer at the show unit, Dana, shared that she was highly interested in Elemen Utara KK as it was the first development in the 100-acre masterplan by Sinaland.
“I have viewed the masterplan and am very excited for the things to come in the vicinity of the development. There are also a lot of schools and amenities nearby and the whole area looks to me like it would prosper and develop rapidly over the next few years, with KFC being there already.
“For all I know, this new township could become the new city centre given KK’s rapid development. Now might be the right time to buy, before all the nearby value-added developments are added by Sinaland.”
Tower A of Elemen Utara KK is expected to be completed early 2020 with OC in Q2.
