LAHAD DATU: Police arrested a Filipina and seized 126.46gm of syabu at the cemetery in Jalan Tengah Nipah, Tuesday.District Police Chief, ACP Nasri Mansor said the suspect was detained by a team of from the Narcotic Crime Investigation of the State Police Contingent Headquarters.

“About 3.45pm, the team spotted a woman who was behaving in a suspicious manner while carrying a plastic bag.
“The team arrested the woman and inspection on her plastic bag found three plastic packets containing substance believed to be Syabu,” he said, adding that the seizure was estimated worth RM10,000.
The suspect and the seizure were later taken to Lahad Datu police headquarters for further investigation under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.- Efa Rizan
