Hunt for duo over Lahad Datu armed robbery

LAHAD DATU: Police are hunting for two men over an armed robbery in a 24-hour store at Bandar Wilayah on October 31.District Police Chief, ACP Nasri Mansor said one of the four victims lodged a police report following the incident at about 2am.

Nasri said the victim claimed that two unidentified men entered the shop and one pointed a knife on his neck before taking his mobile phone.
He said the other suspect took money from the store’s drawer before fleeing the scene.
The incident was caught on CCTV and the losses were estimated at about RM500, not including the Huawei mobile phone.
“One of the suspects was about 165cm tall, wearing a hat and brown long sleeve shirt while the other was wearing a black shirt and about 160cm tall and using a black cloth to cover his face.

Nasri added that the case was being investigated under Section 395/397 of the Penal Code.
