“The increased water level in the Sugut River and swift currents due to heavy rain made the search difficult,” he said.
The Sabah Fire and Rescue Department said it received a call about 2.40pm on Thursday and four firemen were deployed to the scene to conduct a search and rescue (SAR) operation.
