Duo sought over armed robbery at LD shop

LAHAD DATU: Police here are on the look-out for two men for involvement in armed robbery at a 24-hour shop at Bandar Wilayah on Octr 31.
District Police Chief ACP Nasri Mansor, said one of the four victims lodged a police report following the incident that took place at about 2am.

Nasri said the victim claimed that two unidentified men suddenly entered the shop and wielded a knife to his neck before taking his mobile phone.
He said another suspect took money from the shop’s drawer before fleeing the scene.
The incident was caught on CCTV and losses were estimated about RM500, not including the Huawei mobile phone.
“One of the suspects, a man about 165cm in height was wearing a hat and brown colour long sleeve shirt while another was about 160cm tall wearing a black shirt and a black cloth to cover his face.

“Both suspects are yet to be detained. Those with information on their whereabouts or the incident should come forward to assist in investigation,” he said.
Nasri added that the case was being investigated under Section 395/397 of the Penal Code.
