Teacher Advisor, Ernest Kelly Subin said the first project, “Stop! Wait First” (warning light), was created to avoid traffic jam at the school entrance where vehicles entering the school junction will take turn when sending the students to school.
He said the second project, “Sorry Doggy”, is an ultrasonic dog repeller that was installed along pedestrian walkway from the main road to the school gate.
“The main problem here is stray dogs that roam freely around where in some cases caused serious injury to students when they bit the students.
“The device will emit ultrasound frequencies up to six meters to prevent the stray dogs from getting too near with the students and thus preventing them from getting bitten,” he said.
