Royal Brunei unveils new brand campaign 
KOTA KINABALU: Royal Brunei Airlines (RBA) on Tuesday unveiled a new brand campaign celebrating Bruneian hospitality with a focus on the little things it does that make its service special.

The brand campaign, spearheaded by RBA’s Digital and Marketing team in collaboration with the creative agency, M&C Saatchi Singapore, aims to create a powerful and single-minded thought around RB’s brand, unifying all the airlines’ initiatives under an overarching theme.  RB Chief Executive Officer, Karam Chand, said the strategic initiatives over the recent years have made a significant impact on the way RBA operates and positions itself in the market. 

“Our new technology and young fleet to a host of new route launches to reimagining end-to-end experience for our guests has helped RB to achieve a host of awards this year alone commending our products, services and hospitality. 

“TRB in the league of top international airlines and we are incredibly excited to embark onto the next phase of development for RB as a brand and airline. The brand campaign aims to create a powerful and single-minded thought around RB’s brand, unifying all the airlines’ initiatives under an overarching theme,” he said.

He said this includes highlighting the airline’s services that reflects the Bruneian values and culture in everything it do.

“Our hospitality focuses on the little things we do that make our service special, capturing this unique aspect of the RB brand and our people. The new brand campaign will enhance our existing brand core values and connect with current and future guests as well with the global community as a whole,” said Chand, adding the message they convey is that air travel can be enjoyable and to make the connection with international travellers and why they should choose RB over many options available to them in the market.

The campaign features 25 of RBA’s own talents and was filmed in Brunei with local partners. It will run with the release of two key video assets that bring to life the concept of its brand as a world class boutique airline. These will be amplified through RB digital channels, TV sponsorship deal, digital media, billboards and press advertising.

RBA has also recently received the award for Brand of The Year in Destination Branding by The BrandLaureate World BestBrands Awards 2019 for its efforts to promote Brunei as a world class holiday destination.
