Drugs: 37 held in KK op
THIRTY-SEVEN people aged between 15 and 62, including 12 foreigners, were detained for various drug offences during a week-long “Ops Sarang” in Kota Kinabalu from Nov 9.

The operation focused on areas in Kg Lok Buno, Kg Cenderamata and around Inanam town. 

Of the figure, two were arrested for drug supply and distribution, 11 for drug possession and 24 for testing positive for drugs.

Police also seized 13.79gm of syabu worth RM689.50 

The operation was aimed at identifying and taking action against drug distribution syndicate members around the State Capital.

Efforts to eradicate drug distribution and substance abuse in the city will be intensified from time to time to ensure public order and wellbeing, according to City Police Chief ACP Habibi Majinji, in a statement, Saturday. 

To boost the effort, the public are urged to channel information to the city police Hotline at 088-529220 or via Facebook at Polis Daerah Kota Kinabalu.
