 Three suspected drug pushers held in Sandakan
SANDAKAN: Three suspected drug pushers were nabbed separately, here, on Friday.

District Police Chief ACP Mohd Azhar Hamin said police, through the Narcotics Crime Investigation Department, have actively carried out operations to curb drug trafficking in the district.  

He said the first arrest involved a 38-year-old man at the Taman Harmoni People’s Housing Project, about 5pm. 

The man was found with 10 packets containing substance believed to be syabu weighing 7.04gm. 

An hour later, another man, also 38, was nabbed along a stretch behind Sabah Hotel. He was found with 7.87gm of suspected syabu. 

The third arrest of a 31-year-old man was made at the Mile 3 squatter area. 

He was found with 5.1gm of suspected syabu. 

All three men tested positive for syabu.
