Kota Kinabalu: Three undocumented men allegedly involved in peddling drugs and illegal firearms making were killed in shootouts during police ambushes in separate locations in Kampung Sinar Jaya, Kinabatangan, on Thursday.
The 80-strong police team also detained 11 people, including two women, six children and a baby, in three houses and a wooded area during the simultaneous raids following a tip-off.

Also seized were 800 grammes of Syabu worth RM150,000 as well as Malaysian, Filipino and Brunei banknotes, said Sabah Deputy Police Commissioner Datuk Zaini Jass on Friday, who added the suspects had fired the first shots.

He said the suspects arrested also had no identification documents and investigation is ongoing.
