Tekson could see AFC Cup action

Kota Kinabalu: Former Sabah President Cup goalkeeper Tekson Tubeng (pic) may get to see action in the AFC Cup competition next season after he was recruited by Brunei Super League Club Indera SC.The team who finished fourth in the league is currently the only club from the Sultanate state to have the AFC licence that enable them to play in the Asian elite competition.ADVERTISEMENT
The 23-year-old who hails from Keningau played for the State Under-21 team in the 2016-17 season under head coach Justin Ganai.

According to him, he is physically very strong and a good commanding player who can also plays as striker and defender.
Tekson was named the best goalkeeper in the recent concluded KDM Football League competition where he also helped KDM Telupid to win the league title after they beat KDM Sepanggar 5-4 on penalties.
