The deities which travelled by air had international passports including an identification card. On arrival most of them were chauffeured to the venue of the event.
A temple from here was among those that participated in the religious event with a team escorting the diety to China to its original home before attending the reunion in Singapore.
Upon arrival here from Singapore via Kota Kinabalu and then on ferry to Labuan a grand welcome was also accorded at the ro-ro ferry terminal with lion dance troupes, a float, and temple banners on Saturday evening.
