Tenom PPKSC to organise health programme

TENOM: The Sabah State Government Pensioners Association (PPKSC), Tenom district chapter, will ensure all its members are in good health and will be able to hold various year end programmes.
Therefore, Tenom PPKSC will be organising a “Healthy Pensioners’ Health Programme” on Thursday, December 12 at the school hall of SRJK Tsi Sin in Kg. Amboi 2, near here, said its Chairman, Saimon Matigal (pic).

He said, the event will begin as early as 7.45 am, which marks the event as one of the charity activities that is being held for PPKS members in Tenom district throughout the year 2019.
The programme includes health checks for blood pressure, a glucose test and eye health checks as well as health talks for Hypertension and Alzheimer’s disease, where the public are welcome to attend even though they are not members of the association.
In addition, Saimon expects many government pensioners including those who are not yet members of the association to be present as there will be a new membership registration that will be held simultaneously during the event, he said.
Meanwhile, it is understood that Sabah State Government Pensioners Association President, Datuk Wilfred Lingham is expected to attend and further enliven the event, especially to the government pensioners.
