This will help to boost economic growth through the tourism industry particularly in the area as it is beneficial to the traders as tourists not only come here but also spending their money to buy local products. “Petron’s partnership with Tiger Team in collaboration with the Klias and Lumadan Warisan party divisions and the district Federal Youth and Sports Department office organised the first Petron Cup Veterans Open football league in the region to coincide with the participation of all teams from Sabah, the Federal Territory of Labuan, Sarawak as well as Brunei to attract more people to visit the district,” she said.
At the same time, he also called on entrepreneurs to be prepared to welcome the tourists.
“All restaurant owners need to improve the level of hygiene in their food preparation as this is important for visitors who want to enjoy food here,” she said.
