Trusmadi Tourism Centre opens

KENINGAU: Former Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Tan Sri Joseph Kurup (pic), officially opened the Sinua/Trusmadi Tourism Centre at the Tulid area in Sook sub-district, here.The centre was the effort and result of his contribution and assistance to the people in the area while serving as Pensiangan Member of Parliament during the Barisan Nasional (BN) government.ADVERTISEMENT
The centre is aimed to assist Bumiputera entrepreneurs in the field of tourism with making Mount Trusmadi as an attraction for both foreign and domestic tourists. Kurup, who is also Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) President, was accompanied by Pensiangan Member of Parliament, Arthur Joseph Kurup, and leaders of PBRS central and Pensiangan parliamentary constituency.
Meanwhile, Kurup said Datuk Kadoh Agundong, who joined Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan), was a PBRS advisor and not a vice president.
“I think Datuk Kadoh has his time in politics. However, we hope to see Kadoh's need to be fulfilled in Warisan,” he said.
Kadoh announced his decision to quit PBRS on Dec 21 and joined Warisan. He handed over his membership form to Warisan Vice-President Datuk Peter Anthony during a Santai Christmas at Kampung Ulu Tepoh in Tenom.ADVERTISEMENT Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

Kadoh, 70, served as State Minister of Local Government and Housing during the reign of the Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS).
