TAWAU: The inaugural Chester Night Market (CNM) consisting 419 booths along Chester Street, here, will be launched today (Saturday) while the Chester Circus in the middle of the street will become a ‘Centre of Festivals’ for Tawau communities and tourists.President of Tawau Municipal Council Datuk Ir. Amrullah Kamal said the launching ceremony will be officiated by State Assistant Minister cum the Sri Tanjong Assemblyman Datuk Jimmy Wong at 8pm.

The CNM will take place every Friday and Saturday, starting from 7pm to 12am while the road closure will be made at 6pm. There will have ‘East Gate’ entrance from a mosque nearby and another entrance at ‘West Gate’ from the Standard Chartered Bank.
Amrullah said the CNM offers a variety of products and services such as mobile food kiosks, food trucks, fresh fruits, decoration items, crafts, toys, clothes and street food like burger, satay, chicken wings and grilled fish.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
