KENINGAU: Non-governmental organisation Angkatan Perpaduan Sabah (APS) has reiterated its stand on deporting the illegal immigrants staying in the State.
Its Vice-President Paul Kadau (pic) said they had stayed long enough in Sabah, while claiming a majority of Sabah natives opposed the implementation of the Sabah Temporary Pass (PSS).

“How are we supposed to be convinced that PSS will function well if government leaders keep on giving contradicting statements,” he said.
Paul has also urged the National Registration Department (NRD) to provide a detailed explanation on the actual number of MyKas (temporary resident identity card for Malaysian-born stateless people) in each district in Sabah.
“Why did the NRD only state that the MyKas is different than PSS after the PSS issue was highlighted?
“The State Governments should facilitate in sending these stateless people back to their countries of origin, instead of giving them MyKas.”

Meanwhile, Paul has urged the voters in Kimanis constituency to be wiser by putting their trust on Barisan Nasional (BN)’s candidate Datuk Mohamad Alamin in the coming by-election.

He said the victory of Mohamad is important to ensure the implementation of PSS will not be materialised.
