Spend less abroad, says DCM

TAWAU: Deputy Chief Minister-cum-Minister of Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Dr Jaujan Sambakong (pic) urged people to spend less abroad especially during festivities but to spend more on domestic social priorities and local economy.
Chinese New Year has become an annual cultural event around the world and celebrated by all ethnic groups in Sabah.

Meanwhile, State Assistant Minister-cum-Sri Tanjong Assemblyman Datuk Jimmy Wong said the CNY Night Market would be a place for the people to earn extra income although it was only just few days.
He said the people including tourists could purchase local products and food at the venue.
