Man nabbed with syabu after trying to evade police 
TAWAU: Police seized a brown leather bag containing 52 plastic bags of syabu weighing 65.7gramme, valued RM3,285 from a 33-year-old man at Kg Baru Pasir Putih on Tuesday.

Acting district police chief Superintendent Nor Azizulkifli Mansor said the suspect tried to run away when approached by police during a struggle. He was eventually arrested.

The suspect together with the seizure were sent to Tawau police station for further investigation under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.

The suspect, was also previously arrested in 2016 for Section 15 (1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
