Namibian included in Tambadau's Indonesian tour
KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Tambadaus with 24 players have left for Indonesia on Thursday to take part in the East Java Governor Cup competition starting on February 10.

The squad also included Namibian international Petrus Shitembi who is vying to fill up the final and fifth foreign import spot in the team.

The 27-year-old is an attacking midfielder and has made 60 appearances with four goals scored for his country since 2010.

Team manager, Henry Saimpon said the tournament in Indonesia will be a good platform for them to access Petrus’ ability to see whether he is suitable for the team for the challenge in the Super League season which is less than a month away.
