Counselling for the 28
KOTA KINABALU: The State Ministry of Education and Innovation will provide counselling to the 28 traumatised students involved in Thursday’s boat crash incident in Sandakan waters.

Minister Datuk Dr Yusof Yacob said the assistance through the Sabah Education Department was aimed at ensuring their learning process was not affected.

“I know there is trauma and we hope they get counselling. Of course we prioritise the safety of the students. We have counsellors from the State Education Department to look into this. The students are now being treated in hospital and those who have recovered can continue with their learning.
