Seven detained in Tuaran drug op
TUARAN: Seven men aged between 19 and 49, suspected of being involved in drug distribution and substance abuse, were detained in an operation dubbed “Ops Ice Breaker”, here, from Feb 17.  

The operation was carried out by a narcotics team from the Tuaran police headquarters. 

Tuaran Police Chief DSP Mohd Hamizi Halim said the operation followed public tips on sites identified as drug dens, namely Taman Telipok Ria, Taman Sri Rugading and Pekan Tuaran. 

“Police also seized 52.94gm of suspected syabu worth about RM7,941 in the operation,” he told a media conference at the Tuaran police headquarters.
