A TM spokesman, when contacted recently, said its team at the technical section had fortified the base of the pole during the maintenance work on March 6.
“We also noticed several of our service poles along that village road need maintenance as well,” he said, adding that the work to overcome this problem would be carried out in stages.
He said the land line services in that village was checked to ensure it runs smoothly after the team left the site.
“I don’t know what causing it to tilt in such a degree but one thing for sure it may collapse at any time,” stressed JOHNNY, a concerned resident there.ADVERTISEMENT
He was under the impression that the landline might had been pulled by a passing lorry.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
