Malaysia announces first two Covid-19 deaths
Kota Kinabalu: Malaysia on Tuesday announced its first two Covid-19 deaths in Johor and Sarawak.

The Ministry of Health said case #178, a 34-year-old Malaysian, had attended a recent Kuala Lumpur mosque gathering identified as the latest transmission cluster . He died Tuesday.

He began to have symptoms on Mar 5 and was treated at Permai Hospital, Johor Bahru, on Mar 12 after being found positive to the disease.

The other fatal case, case #358, a 60-year-old Malaysian, had chronic medical history and began to be symptomatic on Mar 7 before he was warded at the Sarawak General Hospital on Mar 14.

His condition deteriorated before he was placed in an intensive care unit. He died also Tuesday.
