No new Covid-19 cases in Sabah, a first
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah announced no new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, a first in the state's history of tackling the disease. Its number of cases remains at 170.

However, this does not necessarily mean a downtrend as Sabah Health authorities on Tuesday said the Kota Kinabalu Health Laboratory could not carry out more tests because of a shortage of Covid-19 reagents.

The state has been having the third most cases in Malaysia, but on Wednesday, it became the fourth, with Johor registering 34 new cases and now taking over Sabah’s previous position in the overall statistics.

Selangor recorded 54 new caes and remains the state with the highest number of cases at 435, followed by Kuala Lumpur with 270 total cases after seeing a 13-case increase in the latest update from the Ministry of Health.
