Sarawak farmers, breeders, fishermen allowed routine

KUCHING: Sarawak’s special committee on security has allowed farmers, breeders and fishermen to continue with their daily routine to ensure continuous food supply in the state.
“They are allowed to sell their products at places agreed to by the local council from 7am to 7pm,” said the state disaster management committee in a statement today.

A total of 48 new cases of Persons Under Investigation (PUI) have been recorded today, bringing the total up to 956 cases, it said.
“Of these, 812 cases are negative and 49 cases are still pending laboratory results,” it said. To date, Sarawak has recorded five deaths since the first one was reported on March 17.– FMT
