Kota Kinabalu: Brunei reported its first Covid-19 death on Saturday, that of a 64-year-old man.

Brunei has reported 115 cases of the disease so far, some of which were linked to a religious gathering at a Kuala Lumpur mosque said to be a major transmission cluster in Malaysia.

The man who died had not attended the gathering but had a history of travel to Malaysia and Cambodia, said Brunei paper Borneo Bulletin on Twitter.
