PENAMPANG: Shopping for assentials here and in many places are no longer the norm. At the Donggongon wet market when purchasing fruits, vegetables and other day-to-day ingredients, everyone seemed to just buy and leave the premises hurriedly without chatting, unlike before. Before Covid-19 occurred, the market was always busy as local communities treat it as their everyday meeting place and often getting their essential needs there. The community here is adhering well to the instructions by the authority. Before they enter the market, officers in-charge take the body temperature while the queue observes “social distancing”.
