Kota Kinabalu: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has set up a task force to investigate claims of misappropriation in the distribution of the RM100 Food Pack Aid.This came following photos trending on social media claiming that people are getting essential items, which are less than RM100. The RM100 Food Pack Aid is given by the State Government to every constituency. “We have received information on the issue and a task force has been established at State-level to monitor revenue and distribution of such food aid, as reported,” said Sabah MACC Director Karunanithy Y. Subbiah, in a statement, here. He said monitoring and probe on the issue is underway.

“MACC will continue to work with the State Government in making sure the help is available to the public without any leakage,” he said.
