Malaysia records two more Covid-19 deaths, 142 new cases

Kota Kinabalu: Malaysia announced two more Covid-19 deaths and 142 new cases Wednesday, bringing the totals to 45 and 2,908 respectively.
The latest fatalities involved an 80-year-old Malaysian woman and a Malaysian man, 62, both of whom were treated at Kuala Lumpur Hospital.

The Ministry of Health said 102 of the overall cases are being treated in intensive care units, 66 of whom on ventilators.

The Ministry also said 108 more patients had been discharged, the highest in a day yet, bringing the total of recovered patients to 645 or 22.2 percent.
