Esscom detected kidnap group's entry attempt on Mar 29

SANDAKAN: The Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) detected an attempt by a suspected southern Philippine kidnap-for-ransom group to enter the state’s waters on March 29.
Esscom chief executive Noor Alam Khan Abdul Whaid Khan said the agency and its Philippine counterpart has tightened security along the shared water borders against potential threats that emanate amidst the Covid-19 restricted movement order.
