Sandakan media group receives face masks, hand sanitisers

SANDAKAN: Sabah Sandakan Media Association (Pemassa) received donations of face masks and hand sanitisers from several donors.Pemassa president James Leong thanked the donors – three political leaders, an individual residing in Singapore and a hardware store owner.ADVERTISEMENT
The association, he said, also received monetary donation to buy face masks to be distributed among media practitioners in the district.
“Pemassa has distributed the face masks, on Thursday (April 2), and we will provide more masks when we received them soon,” he said.

Meanwhile, Leong hoped the people here will continue to cooperate with the authorities in the effort of curbing the spread of the Covid-19.ADVERTISEMENT
“The people in Sandakan must comply with the Movement Control Order (MCO) to stay home for the benefit of all and also to appreciate the sacrifices by the security forces,” he said.
