Astro's broadcasting centre close for 2 days after staffer found positive

Kota Kinabalu: Astro Malaysia's has shut down its broadcasting centre at Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, for two days after a staff member was found positive for covid-19.

In a statement Monday, Astro said its external broadcast transportation worker tested positive for the virus on Sunday and is now being treated at a government hospital.

The company said the facility is close for disinfection and will reopen on Apr 8 with live broadcasts cancelled during the shutdown.
