Organisations donate PPE, face masks to State Govt

Kota Kinabalu: The State Government received a donation of 450 personal protective equipment (PPE) and 16,000 face masks from two organisations.The donation were part of the overall total 1,165 PPE and 61,000 face masks donated by Sabah Malaysian Relief Agency (MRA), Sabah Mr DIY Trading Sdn Bhd and The Edge to Sabah, which will be received in stages.

State Secretary Datuk Safar Untong received the donations from MRA Sabah Chairman, Lutfi Hafifi Japli and Sabah Mr DIY Trading Sdn Bhd Manager Karen Chia at Sabah State Administrative Centre (PPNS).
The donation is to support frontliner personnel especially in hospitals throughout Sabah as well as a sign of support for the State Government that is working hard to curb the spread of the Covid-19.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

The items will be distributed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) 1, QEH 2, Kota Kinabalu Women and Children Hospital, Tawau Specialist Centre, Hospital Duchess of Kent, Sandakan, Keningau Hospital, Lahad Datu Hospital, Tawau Hospital, Kota Kinabalu Health Office, Sandakan Health Office, Sandakan Health Office, Tawau Health Office, Tuaran Health Office and Kinarut Health Clinic.
The State Government thanked MRA, Mr DIY Trading Sdn Bhd and The Edge for the donation.
