Two more Covid-19 deaths, sub-cluster found in N Sembilan
Kota Kinabalu: The Ministry of Health announced two more Covid-19 deaths and a sub-cluster of infections in Negeri Sembilan related to a Kuala Lumpur mosque gathering in February and March this year.

The Ministry said patient #2,903, a 58-year-old woman with diabetic and hypertension history, died at Tuanku Jaafar Hospital in Negeri Sembilan.

Patient #1,906, a 69-year-old diabetic man who attended the Sri Petaling mosque event, passed away at Kuala Lumpur Hospital. Daily Express reliably learned the man was a lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Mara, Shah Alam, Selangor.

The sub-cluster was found in Rembau with 27 cases including two critical ones receiving intensive care, which started in a school meeting attended by an individual who had also attended the mosque gathering.

The Ministry also announced 156 new positive cases and 166 more patients who had been discharged.
