Kota Kinabalu: None of the Covid-19 patients with mild symptoms in China experienced any worsening after taking traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), said Guangdong Provincial Hospital of TCM Vice President Prof Dr Li Jun.
Li said during the Covid-19 outbreak in Wuhan, China, almost all options on modern medicine reached a dead end, so Chinese President Xi Jinping decided to deploy the TCM team to Wuhan and treat these patients.

“While undergoing treatment with herbs, they found that Covid-19 patients did not experience a worse deterioration, seeing reduced hospitalisation rate and blood status successfully changed from positive to negative,” he said.
This was disclosed during a recent dialogue via online teleconferencing between the team of Chinese medical experts led by Li and Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) physicians.
