L Datu folks urged to continue complying with MCO Phase 5

LAHAD DATU: The public here have been urged to continue complying with the implementation of Phase 5 under the Movement Control Order (MCO) so as to break the Covid-19 chain.

District Police Chief here ACP Nasri Mansor said, they should be aware that the current chain of the virus infection has not ended and thus, they should not take advantage of the relaxation provided under the Phase 5 of the MCO.

He said it is advisable for the people here to just stay at home unless they need to go out with valid reasons and necessities.

“While maintaining good hygiene at home, the public here must always wear face masks and practice social distancing when leaving their houses with valid reasons.

“They must abide by the Phase 5 of the MCO such as allowing only four individuals, whom are living in a house, to be in a vehicle.

“In addition, the inter-district travel is also limited to four individuals in a car with valid reasons,” he said here on Tuesday.

Nasri said it is best that the people here to just stay at home to reduce the risk of being infected. He said if they need to go out from their houses, they must not bring along high risk group of people with them such as children and the elderly.
