He said the company owner lost two sets of computers when he found his premises was broken into at 11am.

Habibi said a criminal investigation team was set up to investigate and the first suspect was arrested at a shophouse in Kolombong at 10.45am on May 20.

He said the suspect is a local from Tenom and his urine tested positive for Syabu, adding the suspect has previous convictions for house and office break-in along with three other friends who had earlier been detained by the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (JSJN).

“The suspect will buy the stolen goods at a lower price before selling them to people whom he knows.

“We recovered a few amplifiers, speakers, monitors, television as well as two sets of computers reported missing by the complainant,” he told a press conference, Friday.

Habibi added that with the arrest of the suspect, police had successfully solved four criminal cases of house and office burglary with a total loss of up to RM10,000.
