Jokowi orders ministers to disseminate new normal protocols

JAKARTA: President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo demanded his Cabinet ministers disseminate the health protocols of the new normal, which is underlining the public’s productivity while maintaining protection from the coronavirus or Covid-19.“I ask this protocol adjusted to the new normal and set by the Health Ministry to be massively disseminated to the society so people will know what they must do,” said the President in the opening of the online limited meeting on Wednesday.

He believed that proper dissemination of policies such as maintaining physical distancing between people, wearing face masks, washing hands regularly, and avoiding crowds could further suppress Covid-19 transmission.
