No more quarantine for inter-state Sabah arrivals: Shafie
Kota Kinabalu: Inter-state arrivals in Sabah no longer have to undergo Covid-19 quarantine, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal.

Shafie said the State Government had decided to do away with the policy but travellers must, upon arrival in Sabah, furnish confirmation letters from the Health Ministry that they have tested negative for the disease in their respective areas or states within the last three days.

"Today, the State Government decided to allow all air, sea and land travels to Sabah by civil servants, private sector workers and Malaysians including Sabahans from the peninsula, Sarawak and Labuan," said Shafie in a statement Tuesday.

The state welcomes travellers to stay at Sabah hotels open since May 10, said Shafie, adding non-Sabahans and non-Malaysians must have valid work or other relevant passes on arrival in the state.
