Covid-19: One death, 19 new cases nationwide
Kota Kinabalu: Malaysia registered one Covid-19 death, the first in 13 days, and 19 new positive cases on Friday.

The Ministry of Health said patient #7,733, a 61-year-old Malaysian man with hypertension, diabetes, gout and kidney problems, died at Enche Besar Hajjah Khalsom Hospital in Johor.

The latest fatality brought Malaysia's total deaths to 116 with the death rate currently at 1.40 percent.

The new positive cases consisted of seven import cases and 12 local ones, which comprised three foreigners and nine Malaysians.
