Kota Kinabalu: Sabah has allowed government and private-sector events to be held subject to standard operating procedures (SOPs) aimed at preventing the spread of Covid-19.

Those who want to organise meetings, seminars, workshops, courses, training, conferences, talks and other programmes must not exceed 150 participants subject to the venue's space and social distancing.

"The SOPs are compulsory on all government and private organisers," said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal in a statement Monday.
