Covid-19: One death in Sarawak, one new case in Tuaran
Kota Kinabalu: Malaysia registered one Covid-19 death in Sarawak while Sabah recorded one new case involving a local in Tuaran, health authorities said on Saturday.

Malaysia's 122nd death, the first in weeks, involved a 72-year-old man with hypertension and diabetes who died at the Sarawak General Hospital on Friday.

Sabah's latest positive case, one of eight new cases nationwide, was detected during a hospital referral screening, said Health Director-General Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

The new case was detected in Tuaran, an update from Sabah Minister of Health and People's Wellbeing Datuk Frankie Poon showed, which also stated three more patients had recovered, lowering Sabah's active cases to six.
