Six more entertainment activities allowed in Sabah

Kota Kinabalu: The State Government has allowed entertainment outlets including game arcades and family karaoke centres to reopen starting Wednesday in line with the Federal Government’s decision on Jul 10.
“The approval is given to game arcades, indoor funfairs, edutainment centres, children's play gyms, machine-operated amusement centres and family karaoke centres,” said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal, in a statement, Thursday.

Business hours, he said, shall be as usual subject to the standard operating procedure of the Health Ministry, local and relevant authorities.
“The government would also like to remind the people, especially patrons, to continue to practise social distancing, wear face masks and use hand sanitisers in all allowed activities to ensure personal, family and community safety,” he said.
