Tawau LDP appreciates TMC, PWD’s speedy response

TAWAU: Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) Tawau Complaint Bureau member Lu Ting Hung (pic) thanked Tawau Municipal Council (TMC) and Public Works Department (PWD) for its speedy action in repairing malfunctioned streetlights at Jalan Chong Thien Vun and pothole-riddled stretch at Thian Mee Light Industrial Estate.Lu noted that the matter were repaired by the respective entities over the last two days.

He praised government departments and agencies for its non-partisan manner in addressing the issues affecting the people despite that the matter was raised by the opposition.
Lu said he raised the issues following complaints from the public.
“Government departments that handled the issues are really was commendable. It shows progress in democracy in our country’s politics.”
To this, he expressed hope that faulty streetlights at Jalan Apas heading to Tawau Airport and other areas would be resolved as soon as possible so as to prevent road accidents.
